Alumni Association

The Fordham Urban Law Journal Alumni Association (FULJAA) joins the staff and editors of ULJ twice yearly for a mixer in the fall, and the Alumni Banquet in the spring.

Each year at the banquet, FULJAA gives the Lefkowitz Award to a person who has made outstanding contributions to the law as it affects urban communities. The award is given in the spirit of Louis J. Lefkowitz, who served as New York Attorney General for almost twenty-two years. A comprehensive list of Lefkowitz awardees can be found on our Wikipedia page.

The FULJAA Fellowship is awarded to one second year day or third year night ULJ staff member who chooses to pursue a summer internship (8-10 weeks, min. 35 hrs a week) that promotes, serves or furthers the diverse urban interests of New York City. Applicants are permitted to receive a stipend or other fellowship in addition to this fellowship. The FULJAA Fellowship is in the amount of $2,500.

Membership in FULJAA is $30 per year. Your dues support the fellowship fund and banquet.
